Petrel Project Data Management Basics

Overview: This course introduces the Petrel user to methods, best practices, lessons learned, and tools for managing data in Petrel projects. It goes beyond the file import tools discussed in the Petrel Basics course to address data management in a multi-application environment and provide strategies for building projects to reduce data management challenges in the future.
Who should attend: Geoscientists, Engineers and Technicians who are going to create or manage Petrel projects, Data Administrators loading Reference Projects, Asset Managers wanting to implement efficient strategies for data sharing and IT support personnel responsible for managing the Petrel desktop environment. This course requires a basic knowledge of Petrel's file manipulation and display tools.
