| Duration: |
Two (2) days |
| Class Type: |
Short lectures with many exercises on the computer |
| Who is qualified: |
A person who has either taken the Introduction Z-MAP Plus course or has had 1 month of hands-on Z-MAP Plus use in the past year |
| Who should attend: |
Any Z-MAP Plus user who must contour seismic data and wishes to quickly fix problems with the input data or output surface model (grid). Anyone who wants to reduce the time it takes the gridding algorithm to run or the time spent in the editor cleaning up problems which are the result of poor algorithm usage. Anyone who must make a surface model tie to well data. |
| What will they learn: |
- How the most commonly used gridding algorithms work
- How the filter algorithms work
- How to fix a gridded surface without using the editor
- How to fix simple surface problems with the editor
- How to tie a gridded surface to well data
