Who is qualified:
Experienced Z-MAP Plus users (an intro Z-MAP Plus course and two months of hands-on Z-MAP Plus in the last year) - experience with the "vi" editor or another UNIX text editor is required.
Who should attend:
Any Z-MAP Plus user who makes repetitive (non-editing) use of the same Z-MAP Plus tasks for the purpose of map generation, grid generation, or volume calculation.
What will they Learn:
To write simple macros which chain together several Z-MAP Plus tasks, asking for input parameters and files, and creating one or more files
To avoid common pitfalls and other hazards encountered when writing macros
To recognize ZCL and MACRO syntax errors and correct them
To use some advanced features such as Loops, Branches, Data Blocks, and Data Block Utilities
